A Word From World Harvest Ministries On November 5, 2017, a mass shooting took place at the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, Texas. The gunman killed 26 people and injured 20. The ages of the dead ranged from 17 months to 72 years old. Half of the victims were children, one of them the 14-year-old daughter of church pastor, who was not at the church at the time.

My spirit has been grieved since I heard the news of what took place this past Sunday.

On November 5, 2017, a mass shooting took place at the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, Texas. The gunman killed 26 people and injured 20. The ages of the dead ranged from 17 months to 72 years old. Half of the victims were children, one of them the 14-year-old daughter of church pastor, who was not at the church at the time.

Let that sink in for a moment.

This hit home! This could of happened at my church!

Can you Imagine the eyes of those beautiful children as they saw this demon possessed man enter there home church as they had to endure the horror of watching there family, friends, and loved ones be killed until it was finally there turn to meet there fate! They didn't deserve that!

Let us pray for the families and brethren of First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs.

I weep as I write this but Joy quickly fills my soul as I am reminded by the Spirit of God of what Psalms 116:15 says, “Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.”

I’m reminded that some 2,000 years ago there was a MAN, by the name of JESUS, who endured suffering and hung on a cross for me and for you!

The Word of God says Martyrdom is a reality that some of us will have to endure while on earth for his name sake! Even Christians in America!

The bible says that as the coming of THE LORD approaches, that the devil would be filled with WRATH and begin to sense that he has a limited time and will begin to persecute God’s people. What took place Sunday is a small picture of what is to come in the near future!

I believe this is just the beginning stages of Christian Martyrdom in our Nation. More is to come and should be expected!

Revelation 12:12 “Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.”

Revelation 12:11 “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.”

    John 16:33

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”

Jesus never said we would NOT go through tribulation. He actually promised we would!

Preaching on Martyrdom is so foreign to christians in America. We think those are things that only happen in the Middle East, Africa or China Etc.. This massacre is a wake up call to preachers and believers in America, that we are not exempt from the christian holocaust that is taking place all over the world!

This is not an issue about making more aggressive  gun control laws. Its not about the Right or the Left.

    This is Spiritual War!

The stage is being set for the man of sin to show up on the world stage to bring peace to a world that is EXHAUSTED of violence, terrorism, war, financial instability etc…

The Bible warns us that these days would come.

Preachers in America are sleep! They are cowering behind there big beautiful ministries preaching smooth messages that don't offend anyone while the enemy has planted his flag in our nation!

God give us Men of God that when they see the flag of the enemy planted in there neighborhoods, cities, states and nation, that they would be filled with such a zeal and Godly anger that they would look the devil square in the eye and tell him “NO WAY”“NOT TODAY” “NOT MY CHILDREN” “NOT MY GENERATION” “NOT MY NATION” “NOT ONE HOOF SHALL BE LEFT BEHIND” “ THIS DAY WILL THE LORD DELIVER YOU INTO MINE HAND; AND I WILL SMITE THEE, AND TAKE THINE HEAD FROM THEE; AND I WILL GIVE THE CARCASSES OF THE HOST OF THE PHILISTINES THIS DAY UNTO THE FOWLS OF THE AIR, AND TO THE WILD BEASTS OF THE EARTH; THAT ALL THE EARTH MAY KNOW THAT THERE IS A GOD IN ISRAEL."  ALLELUIA!

The “Prosperity Gospel” our nation has been fed through christian television has done so much damage to the body of Christ that we are so ill prepared to engage in the kind of warfare that is coming upon the earth in these last days. It is a gospel that says that financial blessing and PHYSICAL well-being are always the will of God for them, and that faith, positive speech, and donations to religious causes will increase one's material wealth.

No wonder our nation is in the mess it is in!

These so called “Prosperity Gospel” and “Hyper Grace” preachers try to twist the words of Men of God who wrote some of there epistles, while they were in prison for preaching the gospel.

Physical well-being is always the will of God?

The Apostle Paul said the following :

    Romans 8:35-39

35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Christians have been taught in America to live like kings because we are the King's kids!

Thats true, but we are promising people rewards without a struggle or suffering!

No King enjoys the rewards of being a King without first engaging in war!

Christ is King because He first endured suffering and and in suffering He overcame the enemy of our soul!

    Phillipians 2:5-11

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

    10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

    2 Timothy 2:3

“Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.”

Paul tells young Timothy, that the moment we get saved we willingly enlist into the Army of God and we have entered into The “War Of The Ages”!

In War there is what they call a “Supply Line”. A supply line is a route along which goods and equipment are transported to an army during a war. We will call the supply line “God’s blessings”. Sometimes during war the supply line can be cut. Does that mean that war stops? No! A soldier knows he must finish his job, Supplies or no supplies! Blessings or no Blessings! Its the same with the believer! We have become so dependent on Gods blessings that to fight, when blessings don’t come or the supply line is cut during spiritual war, we stop fighting. There will be times when it seems God is not sending supplies and we must “ENDURE HARDNESS AS A SOLDIER”. We forget that we willingly enlisted to fight in Gods army, even if it meant giving up our very own life. “For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.!” Our greatest reward is after this life in Heaven!

    2 Timothy 4

I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

Don’t misunderstand me. Yes we are King’s Kids! And yes we ARE blessed by God! But we didn't choose to serve him so he could bless us. We live and die to give Him glory! While we are on this earth let us not forget, it is war! We fight for His glory and not what we can gain from God. We fight so that the Lamb who was slain may receive HIS reward for HIS suffering. Let Christ’s sufferings be rewarded by the word of our testimony; and loving HIM and not our lives unto the death.

Those precious saints who died Sunday morning are now in glory before God almighty as people who gave their lives just like their savior.

and He will say to them...

Well done, good and faithful servant…enter thou into the joy of thy Lord ” - Matt 25:23
